This photo-blog stands in mute protest against the obvious, but also pays tribute to the "guerillas" responsible for this covert truth campaign.

Nobody Died When Clinton Lied.

This slogan has been recently spotted in various locations along the I-5 freeway in southern Orange County, California. As quickly as it appears, it seems to disappear. We'd like your help in providing us sighting information via our Contact Us form. These sightings will be reported on this site for as long as I remain interested enough in this topic to keep the website alive. If you'd like to help support the movement, get a T-Shirt or bumpersticker to pass the word! In the interest of fairness, I've started posting some of the dissenting opinions I've been receiving via e-mail here.

RumsfailedThe War Is Over - SilhouetteI came back from a weeklong trip to Europe on business yesterday and spotted these three signs within a mile or two of each other. Either our mysterious freeway blogger was busy overnight or these actually stayed up for more than just the day. Hard to believe in Orange County but who knows?
BTW - FreewayBlogger.com defines Rumsfail as:
Rumsfail (rums´ fal), v., 1. To self-destruct, melt-down or implode under the weight of one's own arrogance. 2. To fail spectacularly, particularly in matters of warfare or diplomacy; to plunge into chaos. 3. Absolute, unmitigated disaster of national or international proportions and consequence; policy failure so utterly abject and miserable as to approach the realm of the epic. "Although long considered to be a costly and murderous fiasco, the prisoner abuse scandal revealed the war in Iraq to be nothing short of a rumsfailure." See also: "Karma"

From Emily: I was in Spain earlier this month, and I took two anti-war/Bush pictures.
One was spraypainted on a wall in Grenada.  It's of Bush as a vampire with a knife through his head and some Spanish around it.
The second was also in Grenada.. Also spray-painted.  But it just said, "NO WAR" in English.

ChimpeachThis call for impeachment pulls no punches with a play on words about the animal that W is most commonly referred to. I nearly died laughing so hard when I saw it. This one, I'm sure, won't last long before the right-wingers get to it. I couldn't resist... Spotted in San Juan Capistrano, CA.
BTW - FreewayBlogger.com defines Chimpeach as:
Chim·peach (chim pech´), v., 1. To eliminate an enemy or malefactor, or to rectify a near fatal error or terrible mistake. 2. To remove from high office, through judicial review or public referendum, a dangerous imbecile, odious fraud, or chimpanzee. 3. To reclaim the soul of one's country by reversing or redressing a grievous historical injustice, as in "After Whitewater, Bush's lies about Iraq give us no choice but to chimpeach the murdering bastard, unless we want the whole goddam world to think that the lives of our sons and daughters are less significant than lying about a blowjob."

Impeach Bush 2004Driving down the freeway last Saturday I noticed that some of our local Republicans (this is Orange County after all) decided to get into the act. In an area known to be the stomping grounds of the local Freeway Blogger, they erected a sign, similar in look and feel to FB's work proclaiming "Bush 2004". Well, I guess this was just too easy a target to pass up, as this modification shows. Unfortunately, I don't have a before picture since it was raining on Saturday. I shot the modified version on Sunday morning. Spotted by MJG in San Juan Capistrano, CA off the I-5.

ImpeachLooks like the SoCal freeway blogger is back in south Orange County again. Spotted this sign up with a plain and simple message. Unfortunately the image quality is pretty low 'cause my camera battery was dead. Had to use my cell phone's camera for this. Spotted by MJG in San Juan Capistrano, CA.

Who's Wearing the Blue Dress Now?This image was forwarded on to us by the fine folks over at FreewayBlogger.com. The movement is reaching far north. This photo is particulary nice with the early morning sun shedding it's golden rays on it. Spotted by Todd P. on I-90 overpass in Spokane, WA.

Peace NowThanks for all the money-HaliburtonSorry, just got around to posting these. The first image is of kind of Highway Blogging protest common on the big island of Hawaii. They postion white rocks/shells against the volcanic rock along the sides of the road to spell out messages. Usually it is declarations of love or rememberances of a loved one but in this case, the artist decided to take a more political stance, asking for Peace Now! The second came during my trip to Hawaii from an anonymous source and was spotted on a roadside in San Diego County, CA. Appears to be I-5.

No WMDs found Bill sends us a link to ChannelOklahoma.com story about a pawnbroker in Warr Acres (appropriate name?) that placed his message on his signboard. Folks in town, including the police, are up in arms about the "appropriateness" of his message. There is a video of the story too.
